Martha Flynn - Kauth Running First Marathon
Martha Flynn-Kauth, the Author/Mother Hen of InlineSkateMpls.com is running (yes running, not skating) her first marathon in Cape Cod this weekend!
Rumor has it, Martha was initially attracted to this particular race, based on their OFFICIAL SPONSOR.
The race course will take Martha on a 26.2 mile loop around town, traveling along shore, through cranberry bogs, farmland, and several of the villages of Falmouth. At the top of one of the last long hills in Woods Hole sits the beautiful Nobska Lighthouse, which offers Martha a marvelous beacon to focus on as she heads into the final stretch.

Martha started gaining interest in running last fall, as the “chick skaters” turned into “chick runners” through the trails of Theodore Wirth Park. She has been training hard for this marathon while busy skating inline marathons this summer.
