Rainy and Rough Chicagoland Inline Marathon

Chicagoland Inline Marathon Award Winners:

A small group of hearty skaters were met with scattered rain and scattered pavement Sunday morning at the AT&T complex in Hoffman Estates.  The Elite category had 11 finishers total in all divisions.  Steve Meisinger skated a 1:18 in the muck, but it was a big gap back to second place Michael Mullery in 1:31:48.8 and Max Ryan in 1:31:49.

The “Recreation” division had 32 finishers and were led across the line by Tracy White of Rockford, Illinois in 1:42.  71 skaters finished the half-marathon.  The highest ranking Minnesota skater was Alison Talley in sixth.

Races that aren’t supported do not survive.  Recall the 2009 Minnesota Inline Grand Prix had 13 events.  The 2018 Minnesota Inline Grand Prix has 6.  The Minnesota Inline Half Marathon is August 4th on Shepard Road along the Mississippi River near downtown St. Paul.  Sign up here.
